What to expect
Your first time?
Here's everything.
What to Expect at Serenity Salt Spa
No experience needed. No special clothes. Just show up a few minutes early and let us take it from there.
Your first visit
Five simple steps.
01
Book your time
Online in a minute, or call or text us. Sessions run on the hour, every hour.
02
Arrive 10 minutes early
Once a session begins, we keep the cave quiet for everyone inside, so we can't bring in late arrivals. If you're running late, we'll happily reschedule you.
03
Lock up your phone
Salt is corrosive to electronics. Leave valuables in your car or use one of our lockers.
04
Socks on, shoes off
Clean white socks or clean bare feet keep the salt pure. We have disposable foot covers if you forget.
05
Breathe
Settle into your chair, rest your feet on a warm foot dome, pull up a blanket and let the room do the work. That's it. That's the whole thing.

Questions
Good to know.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and clean white socks, and skip the black: a little fine white salt circulates the whole session and shows on dark fabric. The salt air isn't harmful. The cave is usually around 68°, and we provide plush blankets to keep you cozy. (For HaloRed, you'll undress, since the light doesn't pass through clothing.)
Can I bring a drink in?
Yes, you're welcome to bring a beverage. Cups must have a spill-proof lid.
Can I bring my children?
Yes. The first child (12 and under) is $25 and each additional child is $10. Children can't be left unsupervised in the waiting room or the salt cave.
How many sessions does it take?
Everyone responds differently. Many people notice a difference in one session, and a series is recommended. Some come 2 to 3 times a week for 3 to 4 weeks during allergy and cold season, or twice a week for 6 to 8 weeks. For stress relief and relaxation, come as often as you like. You can't overdo salt therapy.
Can I pay at the spa?
Yes. You can pay online when you book or pay at the spa. Massages in the salt cave require a deposit when you book.
Should I talk to my doctor first?
Please consult your physician before your first session, especially if you are pregnant or have a health condition, including hyperthyroidism, cancer, tuberculosis or claustrophobia.
What's your refund policy?
We don't offer refunds on products or services. If you're unhappy with anything, please reach out. We would love to make it right.
Dry salt therapy (halotherapy) has been studied around the world, but the FDA has not evaluated its use or benefits. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Please check with your physician before your first session, especially if you are pregnant or have a health condition, including hyperthyroidism, cancer, tuberculosis or claustrophobia.
