Meet Tina Kilburn
She never stopped missing the salt air.
Tina was born and raised near the beach. She always loved being in and around the ocean, near the salt water. Her passion became learning about Himalayan salt, and sharing it as the next best thing to being at the beach.
As a hair designer, she loved the spa world: helping people feel better, look better and feel their best. When the idea of a salt cave came along, it became a dream. With the help of her children, she decided not to wait for the opportunity, but to create it.
It took six months of hard work. Her son and her brother helped tremendously, and her husband helped whenever he could (he still does). Serenity Salt Spa was born.

How the cave works
An active salt cave.
Our salt cave and private room are “active,” which means a halogenerator gently fills the room with pharmaceutical-grade salt while you sit back and breathe. The salt is ground so fine you can't see it or feel it.
It's a natural, grounding experience, with effects much like breathing salt air at the beach. The walls are built from 12,000 pounds of Himalayan salt rock, with smaller pieces covering the floor like sand.
